4. The main purpose of language is communication. When we communicate mainly, we exchange information. The words we speak or write carry information. Some carry information which are called message-carrying words. For example, in the dialogue, “Where are you going ?” “I’m going to Cuttack”. When we speak these message¬carrying words, we speak with greater force or, in other words, we stress on those words. Given below is a small paragraph. Underline the message-carrying words in it. Kalu said, “Money isn’t enough. I want to be a king”. The angel came again, and made him a king. Now everybody bowed to him. Kalu was happy. One day, he was going around his country.
